Personal Account Settings
Managing Your User Account
Your personal account settings are separate from your organization settings. These control your individual user experience on Flexilocus.
Accessing Account Settings
How to Access:
- Click your profile icon (top right)
- Select "Settings" from dropdown
- Click "Account" tab
- Or navigate to Settings > Account
Personal Profile Information
Editable Fields:
- First name
- Last name
- Display name
- Profile picture
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Job title
- Department
How to Update:
- Settings > Account > Personal Information
- Click "Edit" button
- Modify fields
- Save changes
Profile Picture:
- Click on current picture or placeholder
- Upload new image
- Crop and adjust
- Save
Requirements:
- JPG or PNG format
- Maximum 5MB
- Minimum 200x200 pixels
- Square recommended
Email and Password Management
Changing Email Address:
- Settings > Account > Email
- Click "Change Email"
- Enter new email address
- Verify current password
- Confirmation email sent to new address
- Click link to confirm
- Email updated
Important Notes:
- Used for login
- All notifications sent here
- Must verify new email
- Old email immediately disabled
Changing Password:
- Settings > Account > Security
- Click "Change Password"
- Enter current password
- Enter new password
- Confirm new password
- Save changes
Password Requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number
- Special characters recommended
Forgot Password:
- Logout or go to login page
- Click "Forgot Password"
- Enter email address
- Check email for reset link
- Click link
- Create new password
- Login with new password
Account Security
Security Best Practices:
- Use strong, unique password
- Don't share login credentials
- Review active sessions
- Enable two-factor authentication (when available)
- Log out on shared devices
Active Sessions:
- Settings > Account > Security
- View "Active Sessions"
- See all logged-in devices
- Review location and device info
- Revoke suspicious sessions

Account Verification Status

How to Verify:
- Email: Click link in welcome email
- Phone: Add in settings, confirm code

Deleting Your Account
Before You Delete:
- Permanent action
- Cannot be undone
- All data deleted
- Active collaborations will be affected
- Contact support for enterprise accounts
How to Delete Account:
- Settings > Account > Delete Account
- Review warnings
- Enter password to confirm
- Select deletion reason
- Click "Permanently Delete Account"
- Confirmation email sent
- Click final confirmation link
- Account deleted within 24 hours
What Happens:
- Immediate logout
- All collaborations archived
- Creators notified
- Data deleted (30-day grace period)
- Organization stays if you're not sole member
- If sole member, organization also deleted
Alternatives to Deletion:
- Downgrade to Free plan
- Transfer organization ownership
- Temporarily deactivate (contact support)

Your brand profile is what creators see when they discover you or receive invitations from you.
Accessing Brand Profile Settings
How to Access:
- Settings > Organization
- Or Settings > Brand Profile
- Edit profile information
Updating Company Information
Company Details:
- Organization name

Allow Creator Discovery Toggle
What It Does: Controls whether your brand appears in creator discovery search results.
Enabled (Default):
- Brand visible in discovery
- Creators can find you
- Can receive proposals
- Appears in searches
- Listed in brand directory
Disabled:
- Not in discovery results
- You must reach out first
- No inbound proposals
- Private approach
- Manual outreach only
How to Toggle:
