Creating Your Brand Account
Sign Up Process
Creating your Flexilocus account is quick and straightforward.
Step 1: Visit the Sign Up Page
Navigate to the Flexilocus sign up page and select "Brand" as your account type.
Step 2: Choose Your Sign Up Method
You have two options:
Email Sign Up:
- Enter your work email address
- Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters)
- Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Click "Create Account"
Google Authentication:
- Click "Continue with Google"
- Select your Google account
- Authorize Flexilocus to access your basic profile information
- Your account will be created automatically
Best Practice: We recommend using your work email to keep your professional and personal accounts separate.
Step 3: Verify Your Email
If you signed up with email:
- Check your inbox for a verification email from Flexilocus
- Click the verification link in the email
- You'll be redirected to the platform
Note: The verification link expires after 24 hours. If it expires, you can request a new verification email from the login page.
Choosing the Brand Role
During registration, you'll be asked to select your role. Choose "Brand" to access:
- Creator discovery tools
- Campaign management features
- Brand-specific dashboard
- Team collaboration tools
Important: Once you select the Brand role, you'll be directed to the brand dashboard at
/brands. This role cannot be changed later without contacting support.
Initial Login & Dashboard Access
After email verification, log in to access your brand dashboard:
- Enter your email and password
- Click "Sign In"
- You'll be redirected to the brand onboarding flow
What You'll See:
- Empty dashboard (until you complete onboarding)
- Onboarding modal prompting you to complete your organization setup
- Quick tour of the platform features
Account Security Best Practices
Protect your Flexilocus account with these security measures:
Password Security:
- Use a unique password not used elsewhere
- Include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters
- Avoid common words or personal information
- Consider using a password manager
Email Security:
- Use a work email from your domain
- Enable two-factor authentication on your email account
- Keep your email access secure
Account Access:
- Log out when using shared computers
- Don't share your account credentials
- Regularly review your account activity
- Enable two-factor authentication when available (coming soon)
Team Access:
- Invite team members instead of sharing credentials
- Use appropriate permission levels for team members
- Remove access for team members who leave
Organization Setup & Onboarding
The Onboarding Modal
Upon first login, you'll see an onboarding modal that guides you through setting up your organization. This is a crucial step that helps us understand your brand and enables access to all platform features.
Creating Your Organization
Every brand account needs an organization. This represents your company or agency on the platform.
Step 1: Organization Basics
Organization Name:
- Enter your company or brand name as you want it displayed
- This will be visible to creators
- Can be updated later in settings
- Example: "Acme Corp" or "Digital Marketing Agency"
Organization Slug:
- A unique URL-friendly identifier for your organization
- Used in URLs and references
- Cannot be changed after creation
- Must be unique across Flexilocus
- Example: "acme-corp" or "digital-marketing-agency"
- Format: lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only
Organization Description:
- A brief description of your company or brand
- Helps creators understand who you are
- 2-3 sentences recommended
- Include your industry and what you do
- Example: "A leading e-commerce brand specializing in sustainable fashion. We're committed to ethical manufacturing and empowering conscious consumers."
Step 2: Organization Type
Choose the type of organization you represent:
Brand:
- You represent a product or service company
- You're marketing your own products/services
- Most common selection for direct brands
Agency:
- You're a marketing agency managing campaigns for clients
- You work with multiple brands
- Need to manage campaigns for different clients
Note: This selection affects available features and workflow options. Agencies get additional client management capabilities.
Step 3: Company Information
Provide detailed information about your company:
Industry: Select your primary industry from the dropdown:

Company Size: Select your company size range:
- Solo (1 employee)
- Small (2-10 employees)
- Medium (11-50 employees)

- Enterprise (201-1000 employees)
- Enterprise Plus (1000+ employees)
Company Location:
- Select your headquarters country
- Select your primary city (if applicable)
- Add additional locations where you operate
Company Website:
- Enter your primary website URL
- Must include https:// or http://
- Helps creators learn more about your brand
- Used for verification purposes

Complete and accurate organization information:

Step 5: How to Skip Onboarding (And Come Back Later)
If you're not ready to complete onboarding:
- Click "Skip for Now" at the bottom of the onboarding modal
- You'll be taken to your dashboard
- Access onboarding anytime from Settings > Organization > Complete Profile
- A reminder banner will appear until you complete onboarding
Note: Some features may be limited until you complete organization setup, including creator discovery and sending collaboration invitations.
Tracking Attribution
During onboarding, we'll ask: "Where did you hear about Flexilocus?"
This helps us improve our marketing and understand how brands discover us. Options include:
- Search Engine (Google, Bing, etc.)
- Social Media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram)
- Creator Recommendation
- Industry Event or Conference
- Blog or Article
- Word of Mouth
- Advertisement
- Other
Your response helps us improve the platform for future users.
What Happens After Onboarding?
Once you complete onboarding:
- Profile Review: Our team reviews your organization profile
- Account Activation: Most accounts are activated immediately
- Dashboard Access: You gain full access to all features
- Welcome Email: You'll receive a welcome email with next steps
- Tour Available: Optional platform tour to learn key features
